*** Panda ***

Hey Pan, you brought us many happy times!
We miss you

I have a lot of great memories of Pan, but the one that come to mind most when I'm thinking about her is this one. In her later years Pan used to follow me from room to room. She would always lay down and relax somewhere near me. At that time I was a smoker, and would smoke out on the back patio. When I did, Pan would follow me out back. One day I was really enjoying the outdoors, and noticed that Panda was resting in the sunshine out near the birch tree and fountain in the grass. She was laying, but her head was up and her face was toward the sun with her eyes closed. You could tell she was taking in the sunshine and the warmth of the sun and the slight breeze. I wanted to go grab my camera from the house so I could capture that moment forever.... but I knew the minute I stood up to go get it, she would get up to follow me in, and I would not get the picture I wanted. So instead I sat there, watching her... taking in her bliss... which to this day makes me happy! :) I wish those kind of moments that Panda was experiencing for everyone.... and I wish those kind of memories that I have for everyone too.
